Also known as Obscure glass, patterned glass is available in many different patterns and textures for both residential and commercial use. Each design offers a distinctive look and degree of opacity. Because of the patterns, these glass elements, often used as inserts or full pains, tend to be thicker and heavier. Insulated glass (IG) versions of the glass are possible for use in exterior doors or wherever you need to keep the elements out. Except as noted, all of them can be tempered.
